Multiple Picture Story
This is the photo story I decided to do on Sasquatch
Sasquatch music festival was held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Eastern Washington, on May 29-31, 2010.
Patrick Fowler (top left), 22, and Lauren Hoston (right), 21, spent their Monday morning lounging in the campsite with their friend Cecil Wilcomb, 20. Fowler said he decided to bring a couch to Sasquatch because he knew he would want it at times like this. Hoston said they have spent a lot of time on the couch so far. “This is the kick it spot,” Hoston said.
Daniel Saldutti (right), 24, Christ Chin (second from right), 28, Crystal Davis (second from left), 25, and Forest Eckley (left), 28, spend their Monday morning eating and drinking at the dining room table they brought all the way from Seattle. Saldutti said they brought a lot of different tables and have used them to bring people together. “We are all about bringing people together,” Saldutti said. “We even have a flag at our campsite that says ‘camp unite’.” Saldutti said when they get back from Seattle they are going to design a base for the table and then try to sell it. Chin said the long dining room table catches peoples eye and brings them to the dance parties they have every night.
Josh Langland, 20, fills his flask with rum Monday morning in preparation for the day ahead of him. Langland said Sasquatch does not allow alcohol inside the concert area, so he had to stash it in a secret compartment in his backpack. “This is the first day I am bringing in alcohol because I have been too scared of getting caught,” Langland said.
(From left) Andy Whitcomb, 30, Derrick Frazier, 26, Crystal Davis, 25, Forest Eckley, 28, and Alisa Furoyama, 25, enjoy their Monday evening listening to MGMT at the main stage at the Gorge. Whitcomb said Sasquatch is a great place to hang out with friends, relax, and listen to some good music. Frazier said he likes meeting new people and enjoying the amazing view. “I am just taking in gods beauty,” Frazier said.

Stand Alone Photo
The point of this assignment was to find a photo that could stand alone without an article to go with it.
Western students Jenessa Sneva, 19, and Emma Ranniger, 19, spent their sunny Monday afternoon in the back of their friend's pickup truck in downtown Bellingham, eating frozen yogurt and enjoying the rays. Ranniger said she got a text from her friends right when she got off work seeing if she wanted to get some "froyo" (what they call frozen yogurt). Sneva said they always talk about tailgating in their truck, but this was their first time doing it. "I think there will be more truck bed experiences to come," Sneva said.
